Bharath upbeat about ‘Muniyandi, Vilangiyal…: Director Thirumurugan’s ‘Muniyandi, Vilangiyal Moondramaandu’, starring Bharath is nearing completion.

Being shot in Pollachi, the film according to Thirumurugan is a complete entertainer with all the ingredients to match the expectations of the audience.

Bharath says,” This year ‘Pazhani’ was a hit, so was ‘Nepali’. ‘Muniyandi’, is a love story between a boy and a girl with a village back drop.”

The cast includes Vadivelu, Ponvannan, Tara, Yuvashree and Yugendran. The music is by Vidyasagar and lyrics are by Vairamuthu. Bhaskar Sakthi has written the dialogue.

Referring to the film’s title Thirumurugan said, “Muniyandi is my father’s name. I was his favorite. After he passed away I was extremely disturbed. Naming my film after him gives me great comfort.”
