After making a splashing debut in ‘Thottal Poo Malarum’, Sakthi, son of veteran director P Vasu, is gearing up with his next. The movie is titled uniquely as ‘Mahesh, Saranya Mattrum Palar’. As the title suggests, he plays a happy-go-lucky youngster Mahesh and Sandhya plays Saranya, his ladylove.

Sakthi is happy to be part of the movie. He says, “After ‘Thottal Poo Malarum’, I had several scripts coming my way. However I was very choosy and wanted my next to be more youthful and enterprising. When Ravi narrated the story, I was so impressed that I readily agreed to do it”.

The highlight of the movie is its music by Vidyasagar. Says Ravi, “I am a great fan of Vidyasagar. When I decided to do a movie, I immediately decided to approach him. In spite of his busy schedule, he was kind enough to accept my offer. He happily accepted to compose music for the movie ‘Mahesh, Saranya, Mattrum Palar’.”
